Obituary

Alfred 'Bud' Hofer, 83, of Brookville, passed away Friday, April, 6th at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.Bud is the Son of Earl and Kathryn Reidenbach Hofer and was born on July 14th, 1928 at home in Franklin County. He served with the Army during the Korean War and was employed by Paul H. Rohe Company for over 30 years retiring in 1990, he was a 50 year member of Bernard Hurst Post #77. He was an avid reader and enjoyed nature. On October 12, 1957 he married Mary Ann Seubert in St Paul Church - New Alsace and she survives. Survivors include his wife of 54 years - Mary Ann Daughters - Brenda ( Bill ) Schuck of Rockport, IN Karen ( Joe ) Steinmetz of Brookville, IN Grandchildren - April Schuck, Heidi Schuck and Jonathan Steinmetz and a Great Grandson - Cesar Green also a Brother - Bob Hofer of Brookville, IN. Visitation on Monday, April 9 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home - Brookville, IN and after 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 10. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 10 starting at 11:00 AM with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery - Brookville, IN.Graveside Military Honors by Bernard Hurst Post #77 - American Legion Brookville, IN.Memorial donations to Maple Grove Cemetery or to St Thomas Lutheran Church - Brookville, IN.
