Alvin Samuel 'Bud' Wiedeman, 82, of Sunman, Indiana died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at his residence.He was born July 6, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Chester and Lydia (Bosse) Wiedeman.He married Janet Bauman on February 7, 1953 at St. John United Church of Christ in Penntown, Indiana, and she survives.He founded Wiedeman Heating and Electric, Inc. in 1970. He served in the US Army during the Korean war and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ and a member of Kenneth L. Diver Post#337, American Legion.Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Janet, Daughters Sherry (Darell) Burns of Indianapolis, Sandra (Dennis) Bischoff of St. Leon, Sons, Scott (Shele) Wiedeman of Sunman, Stan (Kim) of Batesville. His Grandchildren, Erin (Jeff) Bond, Brandon Bischoff, Angie, Abbie and Andrew Burns, and Daniele, Natalie, Madison and Paige Wiedeman. His Great Grandchildren, Ryan, Sammy, Ben and Claire Bond. His Sisters Doris Hutson of Sunman, Edna "Mitz" (Wilbur) Gesell of Manchester, Tennessee, Elsie (Ron) Klein of Brady, Texas, and Brother Arthur "Pete" Wiedeman of Batesville.He was preceded in death by his parents.Visitation will be Sunday November 7th, 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana 47041 and on Monday, November 8th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. The funeral service will be Monday, November 8th at 11:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ, 8891 E. County Rd. 1300 N, Penntown, Indiana, Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Penntown, Indiana with Military Honors by Kenneth L.
