America B. Banks, 90, of Sunman, Indiana, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana. She was born May 22, 1922 to Garret and Lucy (Bishop) Roberts in Hazard, Kentucky.She married Isaac Banks and he preceded her in death in 1982. She was a homemaker.Survivors include two daughters; Virginia Banks and Margie Jones, both of Sunman, Indiana; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lilly Brewster of Washington Courthouse, Ohio.Besides her husband and parents America was preceded in death by; two sisters, Ann Winningham, and Oma Sargent; and one half-brother, Golden Roberts.Visitation will be from 10:30 to 12 noon on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana. Phillip R. Gabbard will officiate funeral services at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery, Bright, Indiana.
