Angela Grace (Baker) Powell, 48, of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and formerly of Brookville, Indiana, died Friday, January 8, 2010 at her residence.She was born March 10, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John Calvin Baker and Cindy R. Byrd. She worked as the Resident Manager at the Roaring Fork Motel and Cottages in Gatlinburg. She was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.Survivors include her Husband, Daryl Ray Powell; One Son, Leslee Nelson of Daytona Beach, Florida; One Daughter, Sendra Powell of Cincinnati, Ohio; her Mother, Cindy R. (Byrd) Deaton of Cincinnati, Ohio; Three Brothers, Richard Deaton of Milford, Ohio, Brian Deaton of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, and Carlos Deaton, Jr. of Houston, Texas; and Three Sisters, Rhonda Bassett of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, April Larkin of Loveland, Ohio, and Lisa Ward of Fort Leonard Wood Army Base, Missouri.She was preceded in death by her Father, John Calvin Baker, and her Step-Father, Carlos Gene Deaton, who raised her after her father's death when she was three months old.Graveside committal services will be Wednesday January 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Maple Grove Cemetery, 8126 Maple Grove Road (off of St. Mary's Road, Brookville, Indiana 47012. Graveside Military Honors will be provided by the Army National Guard Honor Guard - Indianapolis, Indiana.Family members will serve as pallbearers.
