Anthony W. Slayback, of Milan, was born on March 20, 1960 in Hamilton County, Ohio, the son of Joe and Phyllis Caudill Slayback.  He married Lyn M. Russell on March 16, 1991 and she survives.  Anthony was employed at Batesville Tool and Die, enjoyed cheering for the Reds and the Bengals, and loved music – especially Rock n Roll.  On Thursday, December 31, 2015, at the age of 55, Anthony passed away at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati.

Those surviving who will cherish his memory include his wife of 24 years, Lyn Slayback; daughter, Vanessa Russell of Milan; son, Anthony W. Slayback II of Milan, and father, Joe Slayback of Canton, IL.  Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Jeff Slayback of Carlinville, IL, Brian Slayback of Canton, Cindy Herald of Kansas, Chris Lindsey of Canton, and Tracy Ford of Canton.  He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 11 a.m. till time of services at 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.  Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Sunman.
