Arthur Colburn Burns, 81, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away at his residence August 22, 2011.He was born July 15, 1930 in Mistletoe, Kentucky to Steve and Elizabeth (McIntosh) Burns.He worked as a Master Mechanic at the Indiana- Michigan Power Plant for over 30 years. He served with the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of Moores Hill American Legion.Survivors include a Sister- Verda M. Holliday of Milan, Indiana, Sisters in law- Ruby Burns of Moores Hill and Cornie Burns of Sunman, Indiana and many Nieces and Nephews.He was preced in death by his Parents, Sister- Effie Dewberry, Brothers- Sherman, Leslie, Roy and Fayette Burns.Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2011, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home in Sunman, Indiana, the Funeral Service will be Saturday August 27 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
