Athea Elgean Nicely, 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly of Sunman, Indiana passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Sterling House of Springdale, Ohio.She was born May 29, 1928 in Sunman, Indiana to John Schwing and LaVon Kramer Schwing.She was Married to Robert Lloyd Nicely who preceded her in death.She was a Sales Lady of Fine Jewlery for 25 years and worked with a travel agency as a tour guide.She was a graduate of Sunman High School and a good musician who shared her love of music by playing the accordion in surrounding communities.Survivors include: a Daughter- Kathleen Simpson of Cincinnati, Ohio, a Son and Daughter in law- John and Kathy Nicley of Cincinnati, Ohio. 4 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, a Sister- Arldean (Donald) Harmon of Sunman, Indiana and a Brother- David (Verdina) Schwing of N. Fort Meyers, Florida.She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Brothers- Dale and Donald Schwing.Visitation will be Saturday May 28, 2011, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 8930 N. St. Road 101, Sunman, IN 47041, the Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, Where Duane A.
