Becky Joleen Thompson, 44, of Connersville died Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Bethesda North Hospital in Dayton.

Becky was born in Connersville on May 8, 1976, to Joseph and Betty Steele Robinson She was employed with Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University in Oxford, OH. Becky was a member of VFW Post 1472 in Liberty. She loved reading, being with her dogs – especially her baby Patches, and spending time with her family. Becky also loved volunteering and participating in many different fund raising events to help others.

Becky is survived by her mother: Betty Shoemaker (Paul) of Brookville; two sisters: Nancy Peters (Kenny) of Laurel and Jennifer Thompson (Steve) of Laurel; three brothers: Joseph Robinson (Laura) of Laurel, Jason Robinson of Laurel, and William Shoemaker of Brookville; her significant other: Troy Wolf of Connersville; Troy's daughter: Bailey Wolf; and several nieces and nephews. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Robinson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5 ^th , at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home~929 Main Street Brookville with Henry Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel North Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Due to the COVID-19 precautions and state mandates, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol, including wearing a mask. If you are not feeling well, or if you have compromised immune system, you are encouraged to stay home.
