Betty Jean Cox, formerly of Bright, Indiana, was born in Franklin County, Indiana, on December 5, 1935, beloved daughter of Garland Emerald and Edith May Wehr Hollowell. She is survived by her husband, John Louis Cox. Betty was employed at Philco-Ford in Connersville, and the owner/operator of a hair salon in Harrison for 10 years. At the age of 81, Betty passed away at her home in Union, Kentucky, on Friday, October 20, 2017.

Betty's memory will be cherished by her husband; her daughter and son-in-law, Constance Lisa and Dan Kerth, of Boone County, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Danielle and Jared Kerth; and her sister, Shirley McCreary, of Brookville, Indiana. Betty was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Betty's honor on Monday, October 23rd, at 11:00am, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Harrison, Ohio.
