Betty J. Seufert, age 71, of Brookville, Indiana entered this life on March 22, 1944. She was the devoted daughter of Cletus and Clara Munchel Seufert. Betty taught grade school in Michigan for nearly thirty years. Upon retirement, she returned to her hometown where she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the choir at St. Michael Church. She was an associate at Oldenburg Academy and volunteered her time at Michaela Farm in Oldenberg. In her spare time, Betty loved gardening, especially growing flowers, reading, crafts and being with her cats. Betty died on July 19, 2015, at her residence. Those celebrating Betty's memory include her sister, Shirley Seufert of Brookville; her brothers Cletus (Mary) Seufert of Versailles, and Tom (Laura) Seufert of Rushville; her niece, Cathy Seufert of Rushville; and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, David Seufert. Visitation for family and friends of Betty will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, with the rosary said at 4:45 pm. Father Sean Danda of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 145 St. Michael Boulevard, will officiate the funeral mass at 10:30 am on Friday, July 24. Burial in Holy Guardian Angel Cemetery will be at a later date.
