Billy Lee Hatfield, of Connersville, was born on December 16, 1943 in St. Charles, Virginia, a son to Jean Maness White and step-son to Charles E. White.  He married Peggy Peyatt on February 20, 1963 and together they raised two children.  Billy worked as a warehouse foreman in construction.  He was a member of Grosebeck United Methodist Church, a Steward for Operating Engineers, and a member of the Everton Lions Club.  Billy loved model railroading, gardening and his dogs.  On Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the age of 75, he passed away at his residence.

Those surviving who will cherish Billy's memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Peggy Hatfield; a daughter, Deborah (Greg) Hill of Connersville; a son, Charles (Michelle) Hatfield of Harrison, OH; seven grandchildren, Thomas, Khrystyna, David, Cody, Kayla, Cassidy, and Courtney, and four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Levi, Hayley, and Lincoln.
