Carol Sue Walter, age 66, of Milan, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.She was born in New Castle, Indiana on November 11, 1946 to Alton and Jessie (Ames) Cowin. She married Allen S. Walter on May 17, 1975, and he survives. Carol loved her grandchildren and children. She also enjoyed camping, word search puzzles, family get together's and cook outs. Her unconditional love and support as a mother, mother-in-law and best friend will be missed by all. Left to honor Carol's memory is her husband, Allan Walter; children, Susan Ann Schrader of Cambridge City, Ronald Southerland of Dublin, Jeannie Marie Robbins of Milan, and Nichole Ann Hankins of Milan; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Verna Callahan of Cambridge City, Marsha Moore of Cambridge City, Connie Custer of Greenfield, Terry Dunaway of Dublin, Candy Hastings of Spokane, WA; and brother, Edward Durham of Milton. She was preceded in death by her parents.Visitation is from 4-7 PM, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana, with Brother Rob Edwards will officiating the funeral service at 7 PM.
