Carrie Josephine Burress, 102, of the Sunman area, passed away April 14th at The Waters of Batesville. She was born on January 6, 1910 to Henry Meister and Josephine Elizabeth Conrad Meister on the Family Homestead near Ester Ridge, Dearborn County, Indiana. She married Stacy Burress who preceded her in death. She retired from the Sunman Schools after working for many years in the Cafeteria. She is survived by her Sister - Ellie Kruse of Sunman, Indiana and many Nieces and Nephews and their families.Visitation on Thursday, April 19 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM at St John Lutheran Church 12523 North Dearborn Road Hubbells Corner, Indiana.Funeral Service at the Church following the visitation and starting at 2:00 PM with burial following in the Evangelical Union Cemetery - Hubbells Corner, Indiana. Memorial donations to Cook Funeral Home to assist with expenses or to the Evangelical Union Cemetery Association.
