Charles R. "Skip" Jung, age 76, of Sunman, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born October, 27, 1936 to Charles A. and Helen Robertson Jung in Cincinnati.He married Jacqueline "Jackie" Hardiman on June 20, 1956 in Cincinnati and she survives. Skip worked at Cincinnati Bell Telecommunication for 37 years. He was a member of the NRA, and the Eagles Lodge of Batesville. He enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling and golf.Left to honor Skip's memory is his wife of over 57 years, Jackie Jung; sons, Charles Scott (companion, Barbara Honeycutt) Jung, John Todd Jung, and Michael William (Louise) Jung, all of Sunman; step sons, Harold Brinkman of Chattanooga, TN, and Russell (Edwina) Callan of Osgood; 6 grandchildren, Samantha Smith, Tyler Jung, Amy Smith, Zachary Jung, Mallory Jung, Caleb Jung; and five great grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Dillon, Grayson and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jim Jung in 1987.Visitation and memorial service will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Memorial donations may be directed to Sunman Life Squad, Sunman Volunteer Fire Department, Sunman Food Pantry or a Charity of Choice.
