Charles Williams, age 80, of West Harrison, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at his residence. He was born February 11, 1941, in Owsley County, KY a son to Carl and Virgie (Edwards) Williams. Charles graduated from White Water Schools. After marrying the love of his life Betty Jo Taylor on August 19, 1961, in Harrison he, was drafted to serve his country with the United States Army. After his service to his country Charles went to work with General Electric Aircraft Engines in Evendale, OH. He started his career in maintenance and was quickly sent to school for a two-year degree with General Electric, in jet engine model making. Charles spent the rest of his 38-year career proudly building jet engine models, up to his retirement.

When Charles wasn't busy making money to provide for his family, he enjoyed gardening and tending to his lawn. He enjoyed spending time with his family but mostly with his grandchildren who he was extremely proud of.

Charles is survived by his daughter Kara (Randy) Wyckoff of Brookville along with his three grandchildren Tristin Ashley, Dane Ashley, Savanah Wyckoff, and brother Bruce Williams of Milan. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 60 years Betty Jo Williams, brother Joe Williams and sister Judy Crank.

Visitation will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday December 10, 2021, at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home Brookville with services following at 1:00 pm. Burial will be immediately after service at Mt. Caramel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations directed towards Shriners Hospital which is Charles wishes.
