Clara R. Fohl, age 99, of Cedar Grove, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Brookville Healthcare Center. Born September 6, 1914, in Cedar Grove, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Rosenberger Schuck. Clara married Aloysius Fohl and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1985. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Clara enjoyed playing cards, cross-stitch and applique. Those surviving who will honor Clara's memory include step-son, Jim (Janet) of Indianapolis; step-daughter-in-law, Marjorie Fohl of Cedar Grove; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Drewes and Bertha Pflum, and brothers Francis, Alois and Henry Schuck. Visitation is Monday, August 11, 2014 at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church from 10 to 11 a.m. The Mass of Christian burial, officiated by Father Sean Danda, will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family requests memorial donations to the Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery Endowment, in care of the Franklin County Community Foundation.
