Clarence E. Weber, 72, of Sunman, Indiana died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville, Indiana.The son of Harry C. and Lola (Sykes) Weber, he was born in Harrison, Ohio on June 19, 1938.He married Elaine Werner on June 3, 1961 in Holy Family Church in Oldenburg, Indiana.He worked as the co-owner and operator of Weber's Greenhouse in Sunman. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 8 years. He was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Sunman and was a retired member of the Sunman Volunteer Fire Department on which he served for 26 1/2 years.Survivors include his Wife, Elaine Weber, of Sunman; Children, Harry & Tina Weber, Ron and the late Janet Weber, Michael & Debra Weber, Wanda and Kevin Luers, and Lori and Davied Engelking, all of Sunman, Indiana, Suzanne & Marvin Narwold and Annette & Wayne Siefert, all of Batesville, Indiana and Sandy & Jerry Dierckman of Greensburg, Indiana; 26 Grandchildren & 17 Great Grandchildren; and Sister, Mary Ellen Weber and Brother, George Weber, both of Sunman, Indiana.In addition to his Parents, Harry & Lola Weber, and his Daughter-in-law, Janet Weber, he was preceded in death by his Granddaughter, Katelyn Luers.The Visitation will be Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana, 47041. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 26, 2010 at St. Nicholas Church, 6461 St. Nicholas Drive, Sunman, Indiana 47041. Rev. Gregory Bramlage and Rev. Frank Eckstein will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery.Memorial donations may be directed to either the Sunman Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 396, Sunman, Indiana 47041 or the Sunman Life Squad, P.O. Box 55, Sunman, Indiana 47041 or they may be given for Masses.Family members will serve as pallbearers.
