Daniel Elmer Hertel, 62, passed away at his residence on November 4, 2010.He was born August 17, 1948 in Batesville, Indiana to Elmer John and Mary Christina (Lambert) Hertel.He married Charlene Rains on March 10, 1979 at Peace Lutheran Church in Connersville, Indiana.He was a Farmer and drove a truck for several years, he was a member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Brookville, Indiana.He is survived by his wife, Charlene, Daughter, Amanda Christina Hertel of Brookville, Son and fiance', John Daniel Hertel of Brookville and Angie Ulhmansiek.He was preceded in death by his parents.Visitation will be Monday, November 8th, 4:00 to 8:00 PM at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 823 Franklin Ave., Brookville, Indiana, 47012, and after 9:00 AM on Tuesday.The Funeral service will be Tuesday November 9th at 10:00 AM at the Church, where the Rev. Donn Abdon, Pastor of St. Thomas Lutheran Church preside.Memorial Contributions may be made to the Funeral Home toward expenses on behalf of the family or to St. Thomas Lutheran Church.
