Daniel Welke, of Cedar Grove, was born on February 24, 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Jerry A. and Wanda R. Wells Welke.  He graduated from Franklin County High School where he was very active in sports.  Daniel enjoyed playing baseball, football and softball and loved spending time with his children and family.  On Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the age of 31, he passed away at Mercy-West Hospital in Cincinnati.

Those surviving who will cherish Daniel's memory include his parents, Wanda and Jerry Welke of Cedar Grove; brothers, Jerry Allen (Sherri) Welke, Andrew Welke, and Timothy Welke, all of Cedar Grove; children, Adam, Aubrey and Chloe Welke; grandfather, Ivan Wells of Cincinnati, OH, and 10 nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Rob Welke, and grandmothers, Jean Wells and Verna Hauser.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
