Darcel Cecelia Metz, of Brookville, was born on February 3, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio a daughter to Oscar and Dorthea Beal.  She worked as a nurse aid much of her life.  Darcel married Clyde Metz and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2022.  She had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, horses and cats.  Darcel enjoyed drawing and spending time with family.  She passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 in Brookville.

Survivors include her two sons, Richard (Michelle) McCluskey and Mario (Tara) Metz; grandchildren, Sara, Brandon, Gabriel, Xander, Amber, Michael, and Cheyenne.  Also surviving is one brother, Danny Beal and one sister Darlene Dickman.  Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lori Beal, Dorthea Dillman, and Dena Eisencher.

To honor and respect Darcel's wishes cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
