Obituary

Dennis Clifford Bischoff, age 56, of St. Leon, Indiana passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was born on February 24, 1956 to George and Ruth (Alig) Bischoff. He married Sandra Wiedeman on August 27, 1977 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Penntown, Indiana, and she survives. He graduated from Southern Ohio Business College and while still in school was employed at Kroger as a meat cutter. He had also worked for Farm Bureau Insurance and Wendy's before he found his true calling as a real estate agent at Bischoff Realty. He was an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Penntown, Harrison Rotary, and was very active in the Southeastern Indiana Board of Realtors. He enjoyed spending time with Sandra and their Mini Memory Keeper Business, and playing cards. He was often seen on the sidelines at his grandchildren's sporting events cheering them on and loved spending time taking walks with the grandkids. Dennis was a people person who never met a stranger.Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Sandra, daughter Erin (Jeff) Bond, both of St. Leon, Indiana; son Brandon (fianc, Danielle Clark) Bischoff of Harrison, Ohio; grandchildren, Ryan, Sammy, Ben and Claire Bond; brother Clifford (Mary Grace) Bischoff of St. Leon; mother-in-law, Janet Wiedeman of Sunman, Indiana; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry and Darell Burns of Indianapolis, Indiana; Scott and Shele Wiedeman of Sunman, and Stan and Kim Wiedeman of Batesville, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Alvin (Bud) Wiedeman.Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 4-8pm at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana, and 10-11am, Wednesday February 20, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Penntown, Indiana. Reverend Lynne Busch will officiate the funeral services beginning at 11am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for memorials to be determined at a later date.
