Donald Lindsey Harmon, age 81, of Sunman, Indiana entered this life on January 22, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the son of Lindsey and Alberta (Hussong) Harmon. On May 25, 1954 Donald married Arldean Schwing at St. Paul Methodist Church. He retired from I and M Power Company at Tanner's Creek after 40 years of service. Donald was a member of the Sunman Community Church and formerly a member of the Sunman Volunteer Fire Department and Sunman Rescue 20. He died August 4, 2015, at his residence. Those surviving who will cherish Donald's memory include his wife of over 61 years, Arldean Harmon; daughter, DeAnn Harmon of Sunman; son, Mark (Debbie) Harmon of Sunman; grandchildren, Shannon (Cordell) Feuston, Kendra (Scotty) Rienschield, and Nathan Sefton; great grandchildren, Alexa Graver, Cade Rienschield, and Cyrus Feuston; sisters, Janice Amos and Linda Ziepfel, both of Harrison, OH; brothers, Lestol Harmon of Sunman, and Bob Harmon and Ken Harmon, both of Harrison. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Flora Jean Nichols, and brothers, Tom Harmon and Bill Harmon. Friends may visit with Donald's family on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Pastor Cindy Lamb of the Sunman Community Church will officiate funeral services at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Sunman.
