Doris A. Bliss, of Sunman, was born on July 24, 1940 in Cincinnati, the daughter of Harold and Amanda Petty.  She was a beautician in Cincinnati who also put those skills to work in her yard; cleaning and perfecting the plants.  She enjoyed mowing grass and loved spending time with her family and friends.  On Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the age of 76, she passed away at Ripley Crossing in Milan.

Those surviving who will honor Doris' memory include her son, Robbie (Missy) Gilbert of Manchester; daughter, Tracy Dudley of Elsmere, KY; grandchildren, Cameron, Julia, Josh, and Kylee; great-grandchild, Ryleigh, and sisters, Shirley Wilson of Florida and Linda Maher of Cincinnati.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bliss.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.  The Celebration of Life will begin at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
