Dorothy C. Stegemiller, 88, of Sunman, Indiana, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Waters in Batesville, Indiana. She was born on September 29, 1924 in Franklin County, the daughter of Frank Weiler and Mary Zinser. She married Alvin Stegemiller on May 11, 1957 and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2009. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church and was formerly employed at Fisher Body in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a housewife and loving Mother who enjoyed watching her children's activities.Survivors include her daughters, Mary Stegemiller of Indianapolis, IN; Ann and her husband Louis Roell of Batesville, IN; sons, Mark and his wife Heidi Stegemiller of Franklin, OH, and Neal and his wife Jean Stegemiller of Indianapolis, IN; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Roberta Beyer of Shelbyville, IN and Marian Weiler of Cincinnati, OH; brothers, Vincent Weiler of Sunman, IN and Jerome Weiler of Batesville, IN.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Stegemiller, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Friends may visit with Dorothy's family Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, IN 47041 Rosary will be recited at 3:30. Reverend Frank Eckstein will officiate the Mass of Christian burial on Monday, March 11, 2013 at St. Pius Catholic Church, Sunman, Indiana at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
