Dorothy Faye Watson, age 75, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Brookville Healthcare Center. Born August 24, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of Howel and Alia Frye Brewer. Dorothy married Johnny Watson and he survives. She was employed at Amko Plastics in Cincinnati for 28 years. Dorothy loved spending time with her family and friends and also liked to cook, garden, play cards and fish. Those surviving who will honor Dorothy's memory include her loving husband of 36 years, John Watson; son, Clyde Bowling, Jr., of Brookville; daughters, Vicky Lynn Clark, of Brookville, and Amanda Jean Watson of Dillsboro; stepson, Johnny Dean Watson of Rising Sun; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Lodgston of West Union, OH, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Donald Wayne Bowling; 2 brothers, John Rubin Brewer and Junior Brewer, and 2 sisters, Casie Workman and Rosela Branstetter. Visitation for friends and family will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville. The services are Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Sylvester Lodgston, James Clark, Johnnie Seaver, Jr., John Seaver, Derrick Bowling, Kevin Kelley, and Clyde Bowling, Jr. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
