Earl H. Thomas of Metamora was born on November 28, 1946 in Shelbyville, a son to Neal and Katherine Brooks Thomas.  He served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged.  Earl owned an antique store and loved wood working and fishing.  On Monday, June 10, 2019 at the age of 72 Earl passed away.

Survivors include his children; Teresa Thomas of Metamora, Crystal Thomas of North Vernon, Neal Thomas of Aurora, Scott Thomas of Gainesville, FL, Robert Thomas of Orlando, FL and Brandon Thomas of Orlando, FL; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and his best friends, Kevin Caplinger, Terry Downour, and Sheila Koonce.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.
