Emma Cook, age 62, of Sunman, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at University Hospital in Cincinnati. Born August 10, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of Margarito and Timotea Valdez Campos. Emma married Clyde W. Cook on May 26, 1973 at St. Paul Methodist Church in Sunman. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Emma had an amazing ability to do just about any kind of craftwork. She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Those surviving who will honor Emma's memory include her loving husband of 41 years, Clyde Cook; daughters, Timotea Irwin (husband Brent) of Sunman, Rosa Valdez (fiancé Rod Chappell) of Sunman; 3 granddaughters, Luna Arthur, Sarah Irwin and Uriana Arthur; brothers, Margarito Campos, Jr., of Negengard's Corner, Epifanio "Pete" Campos of Greensburg; sister, Ursula Browning of Greensburg, many nieces and nephews and special friend Robin Schnuck. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond, Richard, David, Domingo, and Roy Campos. Visitation for friends and family is from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at noon. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
