Estella Edna Fletcher, 85, of Milan, Indiana died Friday, April 2, 2010 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville, Indiana.She was born on October 6, 1924 in Sunman, Indiana to August George and Estella (Ellis) Lauber. She married Raymond Herald Fletcher, who preceded her in death. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. In her later years she worked in the kitchen at the Milan Elementary School. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Sunman and was a former member of the Milan Methodist Church. She was a memember of Internationally Yours, a war ladies penpal club, as well as a member of Help Your Neighbor Club in Milan and the United Methodist Women's Club. She was also a volunteer at Margaret Mary Community Hospital.Survivors include Son and Daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Faye Fletcher of Milan; Son and Daughter-in-law, Frank and Judy Fletcher of Sunman; and Son, Samuel Fletcher of Milan; 6 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; and many Nieces and Nephews. In addition to her Parents and her Husband, Raymond, she was preceded in death by three Brothers, Harvy Lauber, Elmer Lauber, and Raymond Lauber; and four Sisters, Anna Marie Couch, Betty Seagrest, Irene Allen, an Myrtle Hixson.The Visitation will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Rev. Duane Loos, Pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church in Sunman, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, 8930 State Road 101 North, Sunman, Indiana. Memorial donations may be given to the St.Paul Methodist Church or to the American Heart Association.
