Esther Stallo, of Batesville, was born on January 5, 1923, a daughter to Charles and Gertrude (nee White) Wright. She married Harry W. Stallo on June 10, 1950 in Dry Ridge, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on March 20, 2002. Esther was an executive assistant for George Carl Hillenbrand for many years, and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. She loved to travel, especially with her special friend, Marie - two of their most precious trips included one to Texas to see the bluebells blooming in the spring and another to the Blue Ridge mountains to witness the splendor of fall color on the trees. Those surviving who will honor Esther's memory include her daughters, Patricia Dietz of Indianapolis, and Anita (Cleve) Modesitt of Indianapolis; son-in-law, Daniel Ulrich of Woodstock, GA, and 4 grandchildren.
