Millard Eugene "Blue" Baker, 48, of Metamora, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 20, 1965 in Rushville, Indiana, a son to Jerald (Dick) A. and Norma Jean Wainscott Baker. He was self-employed as a truck driver and construction worker. He married Heather Dawn Rea on December 12, 2013 and she survives. He loved hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and anything outdoors. Those surviving left to honor Blue's memory include; wife, Heather; daughters, Alicia (Bryan) Riehle of Metamora, and Megan (Larry Barnes) Baker of Sunman; parents, Dick and Norma Jean Baker of Metamora; step-children, Kyle Rea of Metamora and Kayla and Joey Cregar of Rushville; brothers, Jerry (Sandy) Baker of Metamora, and Ronnie (Pat) Baker of Brookville; sister, Tammy Neeley of Connersville; and 3 grandchildren, Makaylee, Maxtin and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, an infant son, Wilson Baker, and nephews, Jerrid Baker and TJ Neeley.Visitation for friends and family will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at Metamora Church of God in Metamora. Services will also be held at the church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Wayne Ison officiating. Burial will follow in Cupps Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Family.
