Evelyn Anthony went to her heavenly home on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 84.  She was born on July 3, 1933 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late William and Ellen Sparks Hubbard.  Evelyn graduated from Brookville High School and later worked for insurance agent, Don Russell and at General Electric in filing.  She married Melvin E. Anthony on January 8, 1955 at St. Michael's Rectory in Brookville and was of the Christian faith.  She was a loving wife and mother, a beloved sister and aunt, and an avid flower gardener.

Those surviving who will cherish Evelyn's memory include her sister, Barbara (Bob) Bohlander, and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Anthony; two sons, Douglas Lee Anthony and Richard Todd Anthony; five brothers, Bill, Don, Paul, Carl and John, and two sisters, Gladys and Rosemary.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street.  Graveside services will immediately follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
