Evelyn Palmer, 87, of Milan Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. Evelyn was born August 25, 1925 in Somerset Kentucky, the daughter of George and Lucy (Lovens) Russell. She was married to Donald Dent Palmer, who proceeded her in death. She retired from U.S. Shoe in Osgood following 10 years of employment. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with family. Survivors include 4 Daughters; Sharon Richardson of Milan, Judy Huntington of Batesville, Bonnie Smith of Milan, and Sandra Dell of Dillsboro, 5 Sons; Robert Palmer of Bennington, Carl Palmer of North Vernon, Joe Palmer of Sunman, Tim Palmer of Milan and Donnie Palmer of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; 32 Grandchildren, 60 Great-Grandchildren; sister Mary Judy of Aurora and several Nieces and Nephews. Besides her Husband Donald, she was preceded in death by a Grandson, Ronald Huntington.Visitation for Evelyn's friends and family will be on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 8-10 am with a funeral service at 10 am at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana. Burial will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
