Frances M. Schneider, 86, of Sunman, Indiana died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville, Indiana.The daughter of Joseph and Magdalena (Frey) Kraus, she was born on September 23, 1923 in St. Leon, Indiana. She married Frank "Buck" Schneider who preceded her in death on August 4, 2003. She was a homemaker and a housekeeper for the Hillenbrand Family for 23 years. She also loved gardening.Survivors include six daughters, Rita Weber of Sunman, Indiana, Kathy Knue of Dover, Indiana, Anita Narwold of Batesville, Indiana, Pat Litmer of Enochsburg, Indiana, Diane Letcher Jones of Marietta, Georgia, and Cheryl Hickey of West Chester, Ohio; three sons, Robert A. Schneider and Frank T. Schneider, both of Sunman, Indiana, and Steven J. Schneider of Rocky River, Ohio; 28 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren; and one sister, Rose Hogan of Las Vegas, Nevada.In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.The Visitation will be Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana 47041. A Rosary Service will begin at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 12:30 PM at St. Nicholas Church near Sunman,Indiana. Rev. Gregory Bramlage, Pastor of St. Nicholas Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery in St. Nicholas, Indiana.Memorial donations may be given for Masses or they may be directed to the St. Nicholas School.Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
