Frank Engel, 56, of Brookville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home. He was born September 11, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Joseph P. and Elizabeth Audenbauch Engel. He was a retired union roofer and a member of the Local #42 Roofers Union.Survivors include; son, Joseph Engel of Brookville; daughter, Sherry Brock of Cincinnati, OH; father, Joseph P. Engel of Cincinnati, OH; brother, John Engel Sr. of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Rose Engel of Cincinnati, OH; and step-son, Chris Gatto of Cincinnati, OH. Frank was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Engel, and his beloved companion, Ruth Gatto.Visitation for friends and family will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 12-2PM, with the funeral service beginning at 2PM, at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana. Cremation will follow. Memorial donations may be directed to the charity of choice.
