Smith, 81, of Brookville, Indiana passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Ripley Crossings Nursing Home in Milan, Indiana.She was born November 28, 1929 in Letcher County, KY to Coolie Calihan, Sr. and Versie Lewis Calihan.She was married to Arve Lee Smith who preceded her in death on March 21, 2001.She was a Homemaker and former employee of Brookville Casket Factory and Jay Garment in Brookville.She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brookville,Survivors include: Daughters- Janet (Mike) Vest of Brookville, Theresa Jane (John) Lockridege of Brookville, Cassandra Lynn (Bill) Schirmer of Brookville, Michelle Renee' (Ken) Kaiser of Cincinnati, OH, Son- Don (Sharon) Smith of Brookville, 13 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, Sisters- Betty (Bob) Hofer of Brookville, Brenda (Gary) Ross of Brookville, Delores Fields of Lawrenceburg, Sadie Wells of Lawenceburg, Brothers- Coolie (Pat) Calihan, Jr. of Metamora, Odell (Wanda) Calihan of Connersville, Joe (Lois) Calihan of Laurel.She was prceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Sister- Patricia Mays, Brother- Stanley Calihan.Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, Brookville, Indiana, the Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home where Michael L.
