Gary Gordon Stacy, age 64, of Metamora, Indiana passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Rush Memorial Hospital in Rushville, Indiana. He was born on December 23, 1948 to Gordon and Thelma (Reynolds) Stacy in Batesville, IndianaHe married Rita Hunter on August 4, 1967, and she survives. Gary was probably best known for his services in heating and plumbing as the owner of Stacy's Plumbing and Heating in Greensburg, Indiana, since 1977. He enjoyed his work, his family and especially his grandkids. Besides his loving wife, Rita, Gary is survived by sons, Gary Christopher Stacy (fianc, Kim Ginn Buckles, and her children Nicole Benz, Meagan Benz, and Tylor Buckles) of St. Paul, Indiana, and Chad Nathan Stacy (wife, Kathy Milbourn) of Laurel, Indiana; grandsons, Logan and Lucas, and granddaughter Lauren; sisters, Judy Edwards and Carolyn Morgan, both of Metamora, Indiana, and Shirley De Marco of Oldenburg, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon with Reverend Ron McCulloch officiating. Burial will follow in Peppertown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Bible Baptist Church Building Fund.
