Gaynell Campbell, age 85, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Shawneespring of Harrison. Born February 2, 1929 in Grundy, Virginia she was the daughter of Garland and Clara May Blankenship Deel. Gaynell married Harry Campbell in 1948 in Lawrenceburg and he preceded her in death in 1984. They owned and operated a fishing lake and restaurant. Gaynell also worked at the Sisters of Charity Mother House. She enjoyed quilting and dancing. Those surviving who will honor Gaynell's memory include daughter, Mitzi Campbell and son-in-law Ron Carr, of Sunman; sisters, Mildred, Juanita, and Loretta; brothers, Benny and Dan; 2 grandchildren, Tammi and Joshua and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth and Clinard and one sister, Iris. In keeping with Gaynell's wishes, cremation was chosen, and services will be held at a later time.
