Geneva "Nanny" King, 94, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born on April, 19, 1918 in Harlan County, KY, the daughter of James Simpson and Mae Osborne.She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Survivors include; daughter, Norma Green of Sunman; sons, Donald King of Sunman, and Leroy King Jr. of Sevierville, TN; one sister, Della Cutter of Danville, KY; and one brother, Charles Simpson of Danville, KYBesides her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, IN, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Sunman, IN.Memorial donations may be directed to Sunman Area Life Squad.
