Ginger Sue Hartman, 70, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family and friends.She was born on October 9, 1942 to Clarence (Tim) Osburn and Delta Sunman. She married Don Hartman on March 31, 1962 at St. Paul, New Alsace and he survives. Ginger was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, the Ladies' Sodality and Wednesday Women's Bible study group. Ginger had been a teacher's aide in the Sunman Dearborn school system for 25 years and also drove a bus. She was an EMT for 30 years and a member of Sunman Life Squad. Ginger was an active member of the Sunman Beautification Committee, and on the board of directors at Raintree Senior Citizens home in Sunman. She enjoyed working with her flowers, mowing grass at the farm and bicycling.Left to honor Ginger's memory is her husband of 50 years, 11 months and 21 days, Don Hartman; children, Tim (Penny) Hartman, Scott (Diane) Hartman, Amy Jackson, Andy (Stephanie) Hartman; 12 grandchildren, and sister, Jenny Fritsch. She was preceded in death by her parents.Visitation is Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at The Sunman American Legion from 4-8 p.m. with Rosary at 3:30. A Mass of Christian burial is Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Pascal and Rev. Frank Eckstein.
