Glenn Bellingham, age 78, of Milan, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. Born on February 9, 1936, he was the son of Charles A. and Helen Weiss Bellingham. Glenn served his country as part of the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Delores Allgeier in Lawrenceburg on July 22, 1959 and she survives. Glenn retired from GE as an engineering inspector after 33 years of service. His passion was horticulture and he grew numerous varieties of plants and trees and was affectionately known as "the bucket farmer." Those surviving who will honor Glenn's memory include his wife Delores; children, Joy (Jon) Brenner of Bright, Beth (Keith) Caudill of Metamora, Dan (Victoria) Bellingham of Batesville, Fay Taylor of Harrison, and Jay (Vickie) Bellingham of Osgood, and 10 grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Keith and Roger Bellingham. Visitation for friends and family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.
