Harry C. Kaiser, age 96, of Cedar Grove, Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at his residence. Born July 9, 1919 in Cedar Grove, he was the son of William and Mary (Gindling) Kaiser. Harry married Viola M. Singer on June 26, 1943 at St. Joseph Church in St. Leon and she preceded him in death on March 22, 2013. He was a life-long farmer in Franklin County and a member of Holy Guardian Angel Church, Big Cedar Conservation Club and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Harry enjoyed playing cards, tinkering with machinery, and loved spending time with his family. Those surviving who will honor Harry's memory include nine children; sons, John (Mary Alice) Kaiser of Knightstown, IN and Stephen (Margaret) Kaiser of Lafayette, IN; daughters, Monica (Leroy) Bischoff of Brookville, IN and Regina (Al) Kaiser-Kruchten of Mission Viejo, CA; sons, Maurice (Beth) Kaiser of Cedar Grove, IN, David (Cindy) Kaiser of Cedar Grove, Joe (Debbie) Kaiser of West Harrison, IN, and Ken (Amy) Kaiser of Columbus, IN; and daughter Barb (David) Reed of West Harrison, IN; 22 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and sister Joane Glaser of Sacramento, CA. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Kaiser; great grandson, Tristen Seals; sisters and brothers, Rose Vonderheide, Alfred Kaiser, Joseph Kaiser, Edward Kaiser, Leo Kaiser, Dorothy Metzler, Marjorie Taske, and Ramona Ferguson. Visitation is Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, from 4-8 p.m. with Rosary following visitation. A Mass of Christian burial, officiated by Rev. Sean Danda and Father Thomas Bolte, will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015, Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church, Cedar Grove, at 11:30 a.m. with burial following in the church cemetery.
