Obituary

Heather (Braun) Wells, age 26, of Sunman, IN passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 after a battle with cancer. She was born on October 23, 1986 to Paul and Katherine Zimmer Braun at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville, Indiana. She married Bryan Wells at United Methodist Church in Batesville on April 21, 2007. After receiving her associate's degree she pursued her love of working with children at St. Anthony Pre School in Morris, Indiana as well as Top Notch Daycare at St. John's. She was also a bartender at Wagner's in Oldenburg, Indiana. Survivors include her husband, Bryan J. Wells of Sunman, Indiana. Also surviving is mother, Katherine Braun Gerbig and husband Jeff of Sunman; brother, Benjamin (Melody) Braun of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Kayla (Chris) Bright of Ross, Ohio; grandparents, Wilber and Edith Zimmer of Batesville; aunts and uncles, Julie and Gary McIntosh and Ray and Fran Zimmer, both of Sunman; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many in-laws and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul G. Braun on December 16, 1998. Friends may visit with Heather's family on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana, and again from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church, Hubbells Corner. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Chad Adamik officiating. Burial will follow in Evangelical Union Cemetery, Hubbells Corner. Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to assist with expenses or to the Children's Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Online condolences may be made at www.cookfuneral.com
