Henry Clay Hunter, 80, Andersonville, Indiana passed away at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on May 3rd, 2012 He was the son of Ad and Minnie ( Grimes ) Hunter and was born in Clay County, Kentucky on April 20, 1932. He was married to Sadie Bernadine Lewis and she preceded him in death. He served with the Army during the Koran War and enjoyed gardening and restoring cars.Surviving are his children - Sue Chappelow of Connersville Jeannie Ladewig of Ganado, Texas Marty Hunter of Andersonville Chris Hunter of Orange Lora Frasher of Connersville Crystal Bulmer of Rushville 17 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters: Emma Proctor, Helen Dumford, Stella Pierce, Mae Carey, Marie Shoemaker Johnson and 2 infant sisters, Brothers: Isaac Hunter, Gilbert Hunter and Everett Hunter, Grandaughter, Tabatha Hunter and Great Granddaughter, Jamie Roxanne Ladewig. Visitation on Monday, May 7from 4;00 to 8:00 PM at the Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church 25220 Chapel Road Laurel, Indiana.Funeral service at the Church on Tuesday, May 8 and starting at 10:00 AM with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery - Brookville, with Graveside Military Honors.Donations to the American Cancer Society or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
