Herbert H. Green, 88, of Brookville died on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Brookville Health Care Center.

Herbert was born in Owsley County Kentucky  to Elisha and Sarah Green on March 31, 1929. During his life he was employed in construction and farming. Hebert loved going to church at Smyrna Baptist Church in West Harrison where he was a member. He always loved people and had a smile for everyone.

Herbert us survived by a cousin Phyllis Horstmann and her husband Steve of West Harrison, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents;  three brothers: Jeff Green, Pearl Green, and Alford Green.

Following cremation Herbert will be buried in Gibson Cemetery in Bright at the convenience of the family.
