Hortense Catherine Dudley, 89, of St. Peters, Indiana, died Saturday, March 23, 2013.She was born January 30, 1924 at her parent's home in New Alsace, Indiana to Joseph Bischoff and Mary Brickler. Hortense married Aurthur Dudley on August 21, 1943 in St. Paul Church, New Alsace, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on April 16, 2012. She was a member of St. Peters Church and the NCCW. She was a homemaker, enjoyed playing cards, tending to her flowers and gardening, and most importantly she enjoyed her family.She is survived by seven children, Joyce (Don) Sacksteder of Cedar Grove, Ken (Joyce) Dudley of Sunman, Gary (Victoria) Dudley of Sunman, Debbie (David) Wilson of Osgood, David (Patty) Dudley of Peppertown, Pam (Don) Graf of Cedar Grove, and Neil (Charlene) Dudley of Batesville; 23 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren; sisters Diane (Paul) Reer of Batesville, and Linda (Wilfred) Schewgman of St. Mary's. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by infant sister Jo Ann, brothers, Earl, Edgar, Clifford, Leroy and Eugene Bischoff. Visitation for Hortense's family and friends will be from 12 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m., at St. Peters Catholic Church in St. Peters with Rev. Humbert Moster officiating.
