Ivan Paul Charles, 83, of Blooming Grove, Indiana, passed away July 27, 2011, in Hamilton, Ohio.He was born October 4, 1927 in Metamora, Indiana to Thurman and Sarah (Roberts) Charles.He married Gloria C. Conley on November 27, 1947 in the parsonage of the Methodist Church in Brookville.He was a Farmer and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1129.Survivors include his wife- Gloria, Daughters- Jeanetta Brandes of Brookville, Pauletta (Ken) Webb of Brookville, and Marcia (Jeff) Swalbe of Sarasota, Florida, 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, Sister- Janice Sauerland of Brookville and Nephew- Jeff Sauerland of Blooming Griove.He was preceded in death by his Parents, Son- Thomas Loren Charles, Brother- Everertt Charles.Visitation wil be Monday, August 1, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home in Brookville, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 1:00 PM.Memorial Contributions can be given to the Make A Wish Foundation, or Blooming Grove Fire Department.
