Jacky Wayne Volz, of Sunman, was born on June 30, 1957 in Batesville, a son to Edward Volz, Jr. and Ester Marie Fletcher. He worked and retired as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers local 181, and the Milan American Legion Post #0235. Jack loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. On Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the age of 62, he passed away unexpectedly at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville.

Those surviving who will honor Jack's memory include his son, Jimmy Volz of Milan; daughter, Jennifer (Corin) Jump of Florence, KY; three grandchildren, Magdalene, Mitchell and Maudie Jump, and siblings, Larry (Joyce) Volz of Milan, Sharon Bruce of Milan, Denny Volz of Dillsboro, and Deborah Combs of Sunman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Lee Volz and a sister, Patricia Volz.
