James Alfred Erfman, 74, formerly of Saint Peters died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at The Waters of Batesville. He was born August 23, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son of Alfred G. and Ethel E.( Dudley ) Erfman. He enjoyed his time at New Horizons where he was employed for over 45 years, he was a long time member of Saint Peters Catholic Church. He is survived by one sister, Juliann ( Leo ) Wilhelm of Saint Leon; two brothers, John ( Marilyn ) Erfman and Jerry ( Carolyn ) Erfman both of Brookville, eleven nieces and nephews and fifteen great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew, Adam Wilhelm and a sister in law, Julie Erfman. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, April 5th at 12 noon, at Saint Peters Catholic Church with visitation from 10:00 AM to 12 noon at the Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
