James E. Fritsch, 71, of Sunman, passed away November 25th at his residence after a lengthy illness.He was born Septmber 21, 1939 at home in the St. Pius community to John and Helen (Federle) Fritsch.He married Jenny K. Osburn on February 13, 1960 at St. Nicholas Church.He was retired from Monsanto Chemical Company where he was employed from April 23, 1959 to October 31, 1993. He served the United States in the Army Reserve. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking and spending time with family, especially his grandson Jackson James Tracy.Survivors include his wife of fifty years Jenny K. Fritsch, Daughter and son-in-law- Kelli and Lee Arnold of New Castle, Indiana, Daughter and son-in-law- Marti and Bob Tracy of Batesville, Indiana, Son and daughter-in-law- Michael and Cris Fritsch of Sunman, Indiana, three Grandchildren and three step Grandchildren,and a sister Mary Hartman of Sunman, Indiana.He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.Visitation will be Monday, November 29th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana 47041, with a rosary service at 4:00 PM.Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, November 30th, 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic church, where Rev. Frank Eckstein will officiate.Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Nicholas Church or Good Samaritan Hospital Oncology Department
