James A. Zimmerman, age 59, of Honolulu, Hawaii, entered into this life on February 28, 1956, in Batesville, Indiana. He was the son of Harold E. and Rosemary Lipps Zimmerman. After completing high school, James attended Indiana University, earned his degree and made a career in the financial world. He loved boating, fishing and sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds. James passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Those surviving who will cherish James's memory include his children; sons, Kenton (Alexandra) Zimmerman of Boston, MA, and Andy Zimmerman of Cincinnati, OH; daughters, Lindsey Zimmerman of Milwaukee, WI, and Stephanie Zimmerman of New York, NY; sister, Donna (Dale) Bergman of Sunman, and brothers, Gary (Linda) Zimmerman of Sunman, and Jeff (Beverley) Zimmerman of Greensburg. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Tom Frey will be at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evangelical Union Cemetery, Hubbell's Corner.
